Galway Tattoo Show With Cotton Face Vintage

Hi!

A few weeks ago I helped out at the Cotton Face stall at the Galway Tattoo Show.

Lovely stuff, as per usual!

It was the Second Annual Tattoo Show; with both Irish and International tattoo artists set up in stalls in the Radisson Hotel in Galway for the weekend, along with a market, tattoo competitions, food and entertainment.

I didn't get any tattoos, unfortunately, but it was lovely to walk around the convention and see all the different artists and styles they were all doing; and I got some great ideas for my own future tattoos!

Here are some pictures I took of the Cotton Face stall.

Always forget to take my feet out of the shot!

The Jungle

Hello Hello!

So, what I have I got to show you today?

Well this week I did a shoot with my friend and stylist, Mary Martin, of Thine Eyes.

It was really interesting actually, it's all about the deterioration of a girl who lost her love and bla bla. Just like this hotel; she is abandoned. I won't say too much on that, as I have a similar one coming up, so I don't want my next one to seem too unoriginal!

We were in an abandoned hotel, and shot a four page spread, so watch out for those.

We could not have found a better location, and it was actually pretty fun exploring the old place. Everywhere was completely smashed, but you'll see that as the shoot goes on.

It starts off here, and gets darker, angstier and angrier as the shoot goes on.

Galway Designer and Blogger Showcase: Behind the Scenes

Hey Guys,

I'm sure, by now, you have all seen my posts on the Galway Designer and Blogger Showcase (yeah, sure thing, Tamsin!) so I thought I'd share some of my photos from behind the scenes.

I loved being able to stroll around Monroe's Live and see the light and sound engineers quietly setting up in the front, and then the excitement all of the fashion crowd in the green room.

There were make up artists, hairdressers, models and photographers everywhere you looked, the energy was a little electric, actually!

I sat down in the front, then, and added the final touches to my speech before it was showtime.

I hope there is another of these sort of events on soon, I had such a great night!

Look Book Shoot for Cotton Face

Hi Everyone :)

So, I had quite an exciting weekend, this week!

I  was helping out at Cotton Face Vintage, helping style some look books for their new website cotton-face.com. It was a beautiful, sunny day at the beach in Spiddal, Co. Galway, where were shooting with the very talented photographer, Lisa Griffin, who came down from Dublin for the day, with model and friend Deirdre Feeney, and of course, the owner of Cotton Face, the lovely Sinead Lally.

It was so much fun, we shot about 7 looks from Sinead's new stock that she just individually sourced in Paris and other pieces from the winter collection.

I wont show you pictures and ruin the surprise, but definitely keep an eye out here, and on Facebook for when the shoot is live on the site!

Here are the links to Cotton Face, Its Facebook and Instagram and Lisa Griffin Photography and Her Facebook.

I really can't wait to see the final shots, from what I saw, they're going to be amazing!

Watch this space for the final product :)
