Meadow

So, ok. This isn't really shot in a meadow, it's my front garden, but that's not nearly as good a title!

Here's a quick outfit of the day that my sister, Sarah, shot before going on an adventure to Tk Maxx (where I found an amazing book on the history of couture!).

I usually wear this shirt belted, as a dress; but today I just rolled it up and tied it in a knot, and as for the dress, well you might think I'm wearing the shirt to be pretty, or whatever, when really, I'm afraid to say, that I burst the dress really badly when I wore it to see Disclosure a while ago! Oops. That's what I get for buying clothes that don't fit, I suppose.

Also, I'm wearing odd socks. I know, you don't need to tell me. But they're very similar so I don't see too much of a problem.

Anyway guys, see you on the flip!

Keepin' it Real

A few weeks ago my beautiful friend Saskia, of Keepin' it Real, asked me to be in a spread for college, as she obviously had no one else! (Joke)

Check out the full posts here, but until then, here are a few of my favourite images from the day.

Thanks again Sas, I was so flattered to be asked!

Street Style Feature

As those of you from Galway might know, my street style shot is featured in this week's edition of The Craic in Galway

To be honest, I was pretty shocked to be asked to send in a few photos and a little note on my personal style, but I'm so thrilled!

Thank you to Rebecca Casserly of Bec Boop and the Craic in Galway, for featuring me in this issue of the magazine, I really am delighted!

The Irish Fashion Innovation Awards: Behind the Scenes

Last Thursday I was absolutely delighted to be asked, along with my friend Katie, to be the Assistant Stylist at the Irish Fashion Innovation Awards, in the Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa in Galway.

Necklace featured designed by the winner of the
Jewellery Designer of the Year category
Blaithin Ennis

I had such an amazing day, and cannot thank the Stylist Delila  and the organiser, Lauragh, of Golden Egg, Galway's leading publishing company, enough, for inviting us and for giving us such invaluable experience. I had such an amazing day; watching the fittings, steaming the clothes, getting them ready for the catwalk and dressing the models for the show. It was a hectic and tiring experience, but one I definitely want to repeat again and again.

Here is a photo diary of behind the scenes at the show.

Let me know what you think

I would like to say a huge thank you, once more, to Delilah for having us and teaching us so much. Here we are after the show.
